Went for a girls night and was craving fries after a fancy dinner. Wished I could have had dinner here bc this place isn't talked about enough. The vibes and service was fire. The fries the best!!! Even tho we only had drinks and fries.. it was soooo good! I need to go back for the whole meal!

Very tasty Korean double fried chicken here. They have a lower bar area and an upper dining area. Some other dishes and small plates too on the food menu if you want more than just wings. Drink menu has a lot of different cocktails, soju, and rice beers. Got the korean bbq sauced wings. They were out of the soy garlic that night! The wings were fried well but could've used a bit more sauce or flavor. Overall a good experience. Thanks

The Gospel of Bonchon: A Crunchy Revelation I walked into Bonchon as a skeptic, just a humble soul in search of a snack. But I emerged reborn--a fervent disciple of the Korean Fried Chicken Gospel. Let me preach to you about the divine crunch that changed my life. The first bite? Oh, friends, it was no mere bite. It was an awakening. The crisp shell--a golden temple of flavor--gave way to tender, juicy chicken within, as if the universe itself had conspired to deliver perfection. Each piece crackles like a hymn of praise sung by angels. And that sauce? Sweet, spicy, garlicky glory. Hallelujah. I dare say Bonchon doesn't just fry chicken; they baptize it in oil and season it with salvation. Each drumstick is a sacrament, every wing a whisper of the divine. I went for the soy garlic AND the spicy glaze, because who am I to choose between blessings? My friends, I am not exaggerating when I say I considered starting a Bonchon pilgrimage. There should be shrines erected in their honor. Maybe a fried chicken choir. Bonchon has ruined all other chicken for me, and I am okay with this. Do yourself a favor: Join the flock. Partake in the crunchy communion. Let your soul be nourished. And if you see me there, whispering prayers over my 12-piece combo? Just know I'm home. Amen.

So crispy and so delicious. This was the perfect post run food. I highly recommend half and half and trying all the sauces! Plus 1 for the spicy (not that spicy but very tasty) I'm glad they have a location in Philly!

Late night food run with my boo--I haven't eaten here since I was in college so I really had no expectation at all considering that I'm pescatarian and don't eat chicken. However, I don't remember the menu having as many options to choose from when I visited prior. Our server was very helpful and even bought out a sample of sauces for us to try as we had a hard time making up our minds lol. I was able to find quite a few things in the menu that were friendly to my diet such as the veggie dumpling and the japchae which is a sweet potato glass noodle stir fry--Opted out of having the meat with the dish and I loved it. My boyfriend has the traditional double fried Korean chicken with some tacos which he devoured. I will say the interior of the restaurant could use a nice deep clean and possibly some updated furniture lol looked a little ran through since the last time I've been. Overall I had a nice time and would return for late night eats again

Service 5/5 Food 3.5/5 Stopped by for dinner and loved the amount of tvs inside. Perfect place to watch games and pretty spacious with tables upstairs and downstairs. I also enjoyed the K-pop music videos playing at all times. Sat at the bar and the bartender was so kind! Ordered a bottle of soju and she offered me to taste a couple from an opened bottle before I decided! For food, we ordered the Japchae noodles and 10 wings (half soy garlic and half Korean bbq). The noodles had a ton of flavor but were soaked in sesame oil. It was a bit too drenched. The wings took awhile to arrive and they were just okay. I know it's double fried, but some pieces were a bit too fried. The actual meat on the wings had no flavor. I would return and give the wings another try plus something else. I will not reorder the noodles though!

This place is a pretty awesome chain. I usually enjoy their Korean fried chicken but I was definitely in the mood to try something new. I got the Takoyaki which is grilled octopus. It was pretty good. I really liked their batter. I did find it weird that there were bonito flakes on it. It created a weird texture with it. The dish came out pretty fast. We also split some shrimp shumai. I didn't really like the honey Dijon dressing. I felt like I would have rather they put soy sauce on the dish. I also felt like there was too much Dijon dressing that was put on the shumai. The place has an upstairs and a bar as well.
